About Us
Established in 2021 by Makeba G. Lloyd, a former New York City real estate associate of a development consultancy representing a billion dollar portfolio, Scentonomy was conceived with the purpose of catering to the requirements of individuals aspiring to incorporate natural well-being practices into their daily self-care regimens, as well as progressive companies that recognize the advantages of wellness as an integral component of their corporate ethos.

The Experience
Our certified aromatherapy professionals, with 15+ years of experience collectively, help guests create their own organic aromatherapy products. Experience the power of organic aromatherapy to boost energy, reduce stress, and improve focus for your staff or audience.
Experience Highlights
  • We provide 3-6 displays with a variety of organic essential oils (10-13) with menu.
  • Ten minute meditation to set the intentions of the workshop and blending process
  • We a provide a 15 minute introduction to aromatherapy presentation with handouts and sampling of the oils to help stimulate the creative process.
  • We dive into selecting oils for blending and bottling.
  • Participants learn about how essentials oils work and can be used in their daily routines to improve their desired intention for improved well-being
  • Each participant completes the session with a personalized aroma roll-on blend which they have created with the guidance of our certified aromatherapy team.

Flower Essence Workshop
Flower essences offer a complementary approach for emotional and spiritual support by gently alleviating stress and addressing related imbalances. Participants will learn the benefits and application methods.
About the facilitator
Carolyn Jones develops holistic health curricula for one-on-one and group workshops that include herbology, aromatherapy, detoxing, immune-strengthening, chakra-balancing, grief/loss, and pain management.
Interactive Aromatherapy Workshop
Participants will receive a defining introduction to aromatherapy and essential oils followed by a guided scent journey where they will be led through a guided meditation paired with a blend of essential oils that support the session's theme. The group is guided through each essential oil selected for the session where therapeutic applications are highlighted.
About the facilitator
Amy Anthony, offers tailored educational and immersive multi-sensorial aromatherapy experiences. Amy's approach is a culmination of her aromatherapy certification teaching experience, a background in qualitative and quantitative market research, and a lifetime of gardening.

Sunseed and Erica are intuitive practitioners of vibrational sound, specializing in Urban Gong. They utilize various tones and sound waves to induce meditative states and promote relaxation for their clients. Both practitioners are highly skilled in their craft and are also Reiki-attuned. Sunseed has extensive training in Gong Yoga of Holistic Resonance and can perform ceremonies in various settings.

  • Lead participants through guided conscious breath work.

  • Gentle Seated Movement and Affirmations (5 minutes)
  • Transition into gentle seated movements while maintaining focus on the breath.
  • Offer suggested affirmations for intention setting, emphasizing self- care and self-advocacy.

  • Progress into slightly deeper movements to support mental and physical openness.
  • Address internal obstacles and create a platform for total mindful relaxation.
SoundBath(35minutes )with optional aroma and light touch therapy
  • Provide optional aromatherapy and or light touch to the shoulder and head for further relaxation.
  • Invite participants to sit or lie down on mats.
  • Through a slow build up layer of ancient sound therapies using any combination of bowls, crystals, gongs, and soothing percussion items bathing the mind and body in sound frequencies that that relate to neuron receptors.
Return to Conscious Awareness (5mins)
  • Guide participants back to a state of full conscious awareness.
  • End in a seated position, reconnecting with an energetic breath and elevated state of mind.
Closing and Gratitude (5 minutes)
  • Conclude the session by expressing gratitude to participants for their presence and participation.
  • Encourage them to carry the mindfulness and relaxation they experienced into their daily lives.
Mindful Creativity: An Art Therapy Workshop for Corporate Well-being
Experience the transformative power of creativity and mindfulness in this 90-minute art therapy workshop designed for corporate teams. This session aims to foster relaxation, enhance emotional well-being, and build stronger connections among team members. No artistic skills are required—just an open mind and a willingness to explore your creative side.
All art supplies and materials, including aprons and tablecloths are provided. (Paints are water-soluble)

  • Breathing Exercise: Engage in a guided breathing session to help everyone relax and center themselves.
  • Mindfulness Meditation: A short meditation will focus on cultivating feelings of gratitude or joy, helping participants to ground their creative intentions.
3. Introduction to mindful Art Therapy and Creativity (10 minutes)
  • Artistic Freedom: Artistic talent is not a requirement. This segment will explain how art therapy benefits the mind and soul, reducing stress and fostering creativity.
  • Theme: We will set an emotion or feeling that inspires the focus of the art for example what would Gratitude look like in without words in artistic expression
  • Team Connection: We will discuss how creative activities can enhance team dynamics and promote a supportive workplace environment.
4. Exploring Primary Colors and Their Meanings (10 minutes)
  • Color Theory Basics: Learn about primary colors (red, blue, yellow) and their psychological impacts.
  • Color Selection: Participants will reflect on which colors resonate with their chosen intention of gratitude or joy.
5. Creative Painting Session (60 minutes)
  • Canvas and Paints: Each participant will receive a 12x8 canvas and acrylic paints
